6S,originated in Japan,refers to the effective management of personnel,machines,materials,methods,environment and other production factors on site.It is a widely popular management method in Japanese enterprises.In 1955,"2S"was put forward,that is,"SEIRI"and"SEITON"."Safety begins with collation,and finally collation".Later,in order to meet the needs of production control and quality,another 3S was gradually put forward,that is,"SEISO","SEIKETSU"and"SHITSUKE".When introducing this management mode,Chinese enterprises added"SECURITY",which is called"6S"on-site management method.
